Wales Investment Summit
360° Visual Environment
The Welsh Investment Summit convened over 350 global investors, corporate leaders, and policymakers to drive international investment into the country. To support the summit’s flagship banquet, Bait Studio was commissioned to design and produce the digital visual content for a custom, 360° screen surrounding the entire hall.
The Brief & Objective
High stake diplomatic and investment events often rely on rigid, static presentation formats. The objective for the summit was to move away from traditional corporate graphics in favour of a dynamic, full room environment.
The primary challenge was technical and structural: designing high resolution content for a continuous 360° canvas that maintained a balance between visual impact and spatial utility. The imagery needed to reflect the scale of Welsh innovation, energy, and heritage without overpowering the room or distracting from the summit's core agenda.
Pacing and Atmosphere
Visual density was carefully managed throughout the event. High impact cinematic sequences were used for key announcements, transitioning to understated, ambient motion design during the dinner to maintain a sophisticated atmosphere without creating visual fatigue.
Main Feature
We designed the visual sequence supporting a core seven minute centrepiece film directed by NeonBlack’s Paul Johnson, and narrated by Michael Sheen. The imagery was meticulously timed to align with lighting cues and audio spatialization, anchoring the room during the evening’s pivotal narrative moment.
360° Environmental Design
Rather than tiling standard video assets, we constructed a unified visual canvas designed explicitly for the panoramic ratio. The environment shifted fluidly between key Welsh landmarks, from the natural scale of Snowdon to the architectural heritage of Caerphilly Castle, and modern industrial infrastructure..

Real Impact
The summit served as a platform for major economic announcements, securing over £16 billion in onward investment commitments. The project stands as a strong demonstration of how scale, precise motion design, and technical execution can elevate high level brand storytelling.
