We worked alongside London-based production company Armoury on this brand film for De Beers jewellers.

 

Our brief was to create the effect of the Big Bang – adopting a soft focus ‘perfume advert’ approach to avoid it feeling like a science documentary.

 

Working from Armoury’s storyboards and animatic, we created our own animatic before moving into production. We created the particles using Side Effects’ Houdini, and composited the sequence using The Foundry’s Nuke.
